Sick passenger prompts Ebola scare aboard flight

LAS VEGAS, NV – A Delta Airlines flight from New York was quarantined after landing in Las Vegas after a passenger reportedly got sick.

KTNV, the ABC-affiliate in Las Vegas, reports that a passenger who had reportedly traveled to Africa recently vomited during the flight prompting an assessment of possible Ebola.

Delta Flight #495 landed at McCarran International Airport shortly before 11 a.m. Friday, KTNV reports. A live video feed from KSNV showed multiple emergency vehicles around the plane.

Clark County officials said an assessment was conducted and the passenger does not “meet criteria for Ebola.”
