Pic: YouTubeHell hath no fury like a woman scorned, but apparently it’s even worse if you deny her entry to the mile-high club.

That’s allegedly what happened Friday night on a Delta Airlines flight from Baltimore to Salt Lake City.

The unidentified woman apparently had a few drinks and allegedly made sexual advances on a passenger next to her,Coed.com reported.

When the passenger turned her down, she got angry and began making loud, expletive-laden threats. Another passenger caught some of her rant on his cell phone.

WARNING: Graphic Language

On the first video, the woman can be heard repeatedly threatening to “f***ing kill” her seat mate and warning airline staff not to touch her. She also claims someone is holding onto her.

“Hey, lady! Over there! I need help, this guy is holding me!” she can be heard saying to a fellow passenger.

The disturbance was such that the flight crew handcuffed her on board the plane and then diverted the flight to Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport so she could be handed over to airport police.

She was taken to a county medical center, airport spokesman Patrick Hogan told the Salt Lake Tribune.

The FBI and TSA are now investigating and the woman may face federal charges for causing a disturbance while the plane was in flight.

After she was removed, the aircraft took flight and the other 132 passengers arrived in Salt Lake City 90 minutes late, the New York Daily News reported.

Weather prompts cancellation of Atlanta flights

ATLANTA (AP) — Delta Airlines officials say more than 500 flights in Atlanta have been canceled because of a winter storm that’s approaching the region.

Delta spokesman Morgan Durrant said Monday night that 313 mainline flights and 196 Delta connection flights at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport have already been canceled for Tuesday.

Durrant says the airline will revise the number Tuesday afternoon and will give updated cancellation numbers for Wednesday.

Delta is offering customers expecting to travel through several Southeastern cities between Tuesday and Thursday the opportunity to make free one-time changes to their itineraries, whether or not their flights have been canceled.

The waiver applies to travelers passing through Atlanta, North and South Carolina, Huntsville, Ala. and Norfolk, Va.

A Delta Airlines flight from Baltimore-Washington International Airport bound for Salt Lake City had to be diverted Friday night after a female passenger allegedly made sexual advances towards a fellow passenger.

The woman was reportedly intoxicated and became enraged when her advances were rebuffed.

The woman had to be handcuffed by airline staff until the plane could land at Minneapolis-Saint Paul and police could remove her from the plane.

A fellow passenger recorded two videos of the incident. In the first, expletive-filled recording, the woman can repeatedly be heard saying she will ‘f***ing kill’ the seatmate who rejected her advances and warning airline staff not to touch her.

‘Hey, lady! Over there! I need help, this guy is holding me!’ she implores a fellow passenger.

The woman continues ranting as the pilot apologizes to passengers of the PA and explains that the plane will be making an unscheduled stop to remove the unruly passenger.

According to the Salt Lake City Tribune, Patrick Hogan, a spokesman for Minneapolis-Saint Paul Airport confirmed the woman was ‘very intoxicated’ and was ‘grabbing at passengers’ on the plane.

The passenger who uploaded videos of the incident to YouTube said the woman ‘had a few drinks’ and made sexual advances to a male passenger. His refusal made her angry, she said, and the woman tried to ‘raise her fist’ to hit him.

The woman, who hasn’t been named, could face federal charges for causing a disturbance while the plane was in flight.

The second video shows the woman, now much subdued, being led from the plane by police in Minneapolis.

After she was removed at about 8pm, the 737 aircraft and its 132 passengers continued on to Salt Lake City, reports Fox 13.

It landed an hour and a half late.

The woman was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center.

Hogan has said Minneapolis-Saint Paul Airport will not press charges, but the FBI and TSA are investigating the incident and may prosecute.

TSA bans carry-on liquids on Russia flights

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Homeland Security Department is banning all liquids from carry-on luggage for nonstop flights from the U.S. to Russia.

The ban comes after the department warned airlines that terrorists might try to smuggle explosives on board hidden in toothpaste tubes. The warning said terrorist might try to assemble explosive device in flight or upon arrival at the Olympics.

Delta Airlines, the only U.S. airline with regularly scheduled nonstop flights to Russia, posted a warning about the Transportation Security Administration policy Thursday.

The government warning became public on the eve of the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Homeland Security has said the government is not aware of a threat to the U.S.

Delta Agrees to Up Workers' Pay at City Airports

Delta Airlines has agreed to give a raise to its lowest paid workers at JFK and LaGuardia Airports.

Delta will bump up the wages $1 an hour by April, and eventually bring all workers making $9 an hour or less up to $10 and 10 cents an hour.

President Barack Obama recently ordered federal contractors to be paid $10.10 an hour.

In addition to the raises, Delta will make Martin Luther King Junior Day a paid holiday for all contract workers, and pay them retroactively for last month’s holiday.

Delta’s actions come after the Port Authority sent a letter to four major airlines telling them to raise worker pay.

Governor Andrew Cuomo is praising the move.

He issued a statement saying, in part, “New York should have world-class airports that we as a state can be proud of – and the only way that is possible is if employees who keep our two busiest airports running are compensated fairly. I am pleased to announce that Delta Air Lines has stepped up and agreed to our requests, leading the way for other major airlines to follow suit.”

A Delta Airlines flight made an emergency landing Thursday night at the Rochester International Airport due to an engine problem. The plane landed without incident, and all 50 passengers and crew members exited without injury.

According to a press release from the Rochester Fire Department, a flight from Des Moines, Iowa to Minneapolis was diverted to Rochester just before 7 p.m. when its crew noticed an abnormal temperature reading on one of the two engines of the Canadair Regional Jet.

US warns of explosives in toothpaste tubes

(AP) The Homeland Security Department is warning airlines flying to Russia that terrorists may try to smuggle explosives on board hidden in toothpaste tubes.

The threat was passed onto airlines that have direct flights to Russia, including some that originate in the United States, according to a law enforcement official speaking Wednesday on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss details of the warning.

The official said the airlines were warned that explosive devices could be assembled in flight or upon arrival at the Olympics.

The department said in a statement that the U.S. “isn’t aware of a specific threat to the homeland at this time.” It said the department “regularly shares information with domestic and international partners, including those associated with international events such as the Sochi Olympics.”

Delta Airlines is the only U.S. carrier with a direct flight from the United States to Moscow. Russian airlines Aeroflot and Transaero both operate several nonstop flights from the U.S.

United Airlines, the official airline of the U.S. Olympic team, does not have scheduled service to Russia but is operating some charter flights to Sochi.

The warning became public on the eve of the Winter Olympics.

Delta travelers’ plans take a detour after de-icing truck strikes plane

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Travel plans were stymied for passengers aboard a Delta Airlines Flight at Hancock International Airport on Wednesday morning after their plane was struck by a de-icing truck.

The plane – which was bound for Atlanta – was stuck on the tarmac after the incident and 149 passengers were forced to get off.

The aircraft sustained only minor damage.

Some customers were put on a smaller plane, which departed a short time later.

Delta says it is still working to accommodate the other travelers who were impacted.
